Reagan has been doing the tripod sit for a while, but she's finally looking more in control of herself this weekend! This is just about the first glimpse of a real sit we've seen.

October (so far) in pictures
Not up to too much these days. Can you tell we spend a lot of playtime in our family room on that UT blanket? It's like my adult lovie...makes me feel safe, haha. Here are some favorite pics from the last few weeks.

Random Japanese food from Aunt Courtney

I think Ray Ray looks like Aunt Ash in this pic

Being sweet (rare occasion for a 2 year old boy)

Watching Saturday morning cartoons

Game day in a be-dazzled romper.

Bad self portrait, but wanted to show my new 'do (Reagan is glued to GameDay).

Self-explanatory

Park time, pretending to be all nice.

I just loved this outfit, do they make it for 30 year olds?

We make him stand like this 4 hours a day (kidding people!)

He really looks more like this 4 hours a day...

BUMBO!!

Soccer practice (discipline early y'all!!)

Her "cute" face (and chubby arms).

Just a little lovin'...
Almost makes our life look easy-peasy, right??

Fun with Far Away Friends
We just got back from a week in Atlanta, of which I will attempt to write about at another time, but I just had to post this cute picture of lunch with Jenny, my best friend from college.
I know you read the blog from time to time Jenny, so I just wanted everyone to see how adorable your little family is, and how much it means to me that you can take some time out of your crazy life to spend with us. I highly doubt I'm qualified to judge, but you are a fantastic mom!
Pictured from L to R...Justin, Britton, me, Reagan, Benjamin, Jenny, Jason.
Happy hump day folks.

Caught in the act
Been trying to catch Ray Ray rolling for weeks. She's getting good at getting herself up on her hands. Here she is today...

These are a few of my favorite things
Been slacking a little with blogging. I had to get a new phone this week and re-download everything. A gigantic thanks to Apple for actually having great customer service and giving me a free replacement...I dodged a huge bullet there.
Reagan is obsessed with her new Sophie Giraffe. I read about it on a few other blogs I follow and decided to splurge and buy it for her ($18 baby chew toy, what??!!). It was a great investment though.

And Britt wanted a piece of the action...

Reagan also is a big time thumb sucker (as noted before). She's taken to a lovie that our neighbors actually gave to Britt as a newborn. It's a cow, and she loves to pull him to her face while she goes to town on her thumb. (Sorry for the sideways pic, I'll try to remember to fix when I'm not posting from my phone.)

Happy Labor Day weekend!

Finished!
Finally got around to hanging up our recent projects. Actually I hung them at the end of last week and then, as usual, it took a few more days to remember to take pics.
Sidebar - I only created 2 extra holes and a few scratches, of which I managed to patch and then touch up with the wrong shade of paint. Oh, and the pics always make the room look so rinky dink and boring, but, it looks really good as a whole, if you ask me.

Britt helped me frame Reagan's birth announcement today. An inexpensive frame from Walmart and two pieces of leftover scrapbook paper and wha-la! I cut, he glued. He HAD to get in the finished picture, black eye and all.
On that subject, I don't know exactly how it happened, I think he took a running header into one of his million trucks a few days ago. It keeps looking worse, but the tough guy look fits him well.
If you're wondering about last arts 'n crafts project, it's still sitting on the floor of the nursery, but I promise y'all, I'll get the center pic in and have it hanging soon.

On a Roll
I've caught Reagan on her belly twice now, although I've yet to see the actual roll. She gets in a funny position trying to lay on her side and suck her thumb, and I think the rest just kind of happens.
Hopefully I'll have a video soon. This child is getting way too big way too fast!

Arts & Crafts Day
I've had this idea to use all (or at least as many as I could) of the cards we received for Reagan's birth for a little custom piece for her nursery. Let's face it, much of the nursery is hand-me-downs from Britt, so this gave it a little personal girly touch, and is sentimental as well. In the center is her birth announcement, but I'm thinking I might replace it with a photo from her newborn shoot (yes I finally placed my order, they are en route to the House of Marshall). Thoughts?
This is a 16x20 frame with large mat (actually one of those "wedding" ones you sign) from Hobby Lobby. Of course I got it half off, so this is a $20 project...frugalness at it's best! I'll post another pic when we hang it over the rocker in the nursery (hoping that will be sometime this decade).
FYI...shadow makes it look off center, but I promise it is perfect :-)

GTL
I realized yesterday that we had pulled off our own little version of GTL...Orlando family style that is.
We hit up the Y for 8:15 spin, which is early to get the kiddos out to the Gym, but they got to have the nursery to themselves. Then we did a little swimming after spin...well Justin and Britt did a little swimming, Reagan and I Tanned on the pool deck, and she had a bottle. Then we headed back home to catch up on Laundry and yard work. Everyone got a little nap, Justin and I caught up on Big Brother, and we finished off the day with a big night out at the Foxworthy house grilling out burgers and playing with the babies. I even managed to have a glass of wine. That's how we role Marshall style.
Btw, three spins this week, legs are hurtin! I'm dreading starting to run outside again. I think I might have to start going at 4am after Reagan's early morning feeding.

I'm Insane...
...for choosing to do an Insanity workout today versus running. Actually, it wasn't as horrible as I had told myself in my crazy head, plus I think it turned out to be a much better decision than truckin it in this heat.
For those of you who've noticed those miles on that cute little ticker next to this post have not moved in two weeks, it's because of two things: one, I was super sick with mastitis last week (don't ask, just Google it), and two, the week prior I ran only once and took spin three times, woop woop! Spin is one of those workouts that you love to hate and hate to love. I tell ya one thing, I can't kick my own ass that hard, so it's nice to just show up, drop B&R off in the nursery, and let someone else hand it to me on a platter. Our Lake Nona YMCA got new spin bikes too, which I love because they show you how hard your working. I'm definitely going to keep spin in the rotation, and even an Insanity workout or two, when my half training starts in two weeks. This gal is bound and determined to wear another bathing suit besides the "Momkini" this summer (good thing it's summer through October here in FL)...

Thumb Sucker
We have a thumb sucker...the video shows her method of getting it in her mouth EVERY time. I'm sure I'm going to regret this when she's going into kindergarten with it still stuck in her mouth.

Fav Pics
Don't have much to write about, so I thought I'd post a few of my favorite pics from the past week.

I have another little fish on my hands, Reagan loves getting a bath.

Being lazy one morning

Checkin his progress...

My love bugs!

Tommy Mayo's 2nd birthday!

Chillin in Tommy's chair (we need one of these!!)

Reagan watching the tube at the Mayo's house. The perspective of her in this entire picture made us laugh.

My prepster, will save for Pledge Class of 2029 pics

Sibling love, hope they're like this in 30 years!

Little sister trying to wave

How does one bathe when the tub is consumed with so much fun?!

Snoozin outside while Britt plays...

Complete Mommy Brain...
I seriously shouldn't ever put this in writing, but I kid you not, this has got to take the mommy brain of the year award...
I laid Reagan in the Pack N Play, which is in our bedroom), so I could take a shower at about 10:30 this morning. When I was done, she had gotten pretty fussy, so I picked her up and she spit her paci out (she loves to projectile spit the paci when she's po'd). Not wanting to lose it (those things are like little nuggets of gold), and because she's in a major bobble head phase that requires two hands, I put it down my shirt just to keep track of it until we got downstairs. Most of you know that nursing a baby has many great perks...one being some pretty dang nice cleavage, so it rested nicely right in an easy-access place. Fast forward, oh about 7 hours to 5pm (as in like 15 min ago) and I see some strange lump in my shirt as I look in the bathroom mirror. Yep, you got it, I walked around ALL day with that thing stuck between my two friends. I'm sure Britton's teachers, the hair stylist at Sharky's, and no less than 10 Publix employees probably wondered why I had a mysterious lump in my shirt. This sums up my life just about right...oh the joys of mommy brain never cease to fail me.

Baby Einstein = Baby Crack
Thought I'd post a video of Reagan lovin her play mat (courtesy Aunt Ashley) with the baby Einstein star from Britt's play mat. I actually was looking back on the blog and have a video of Britt on his at about 3 months old. They really do look so much alike as infants! This mat gives us some peace and quiet a few times a day.
BTW, sorry about the Real Housewives in the background...

Big Fish, Little Fish
Britt currently loves two things:
1. Swimming
2. Watching videos of himself swimming
Here are more from last night, so that he can watch the blog over and over.
