A Beautiful New Addition

Miss Reagan Hannah Marshall arrived (via scheduled c-section) at 7:37 am on May 5, 2011. She weighed 7lbs 14 oz (I knew she was going to be bigger than her brother!) and measured 20 3/4 inches. I think she looks very similar to Britton as a newborn, more like her daddy than me!

She's such a sweet baby (so far!), and is eating well and sleeping pretty well. She's a snuggle bug, she loves to curl herself up on my chest, which is so sweet.

Britton is an amazing big brother...he loves to give her a paci and kiss her feet. We'll see soon if he wants to send her back or keep her!

Here are a few of my favorite pics from the first few days.

The Nursery Gets a Makeover (oh, and we have a name)!

Baby Reagan Hannah Marshall will be here on May 5 (cinco de mayo party!), so we have been hard at work giving the nursery a makeover. I've attached the pics I've taken so far below, but they were taken with my phone, so some might be hard to see the details. Below is the link to a better picture online from JC Penny.

I decided to go a bit of an non-traditional route for baby Reagan with blue and green paisley (and to be honest, we didn't want to paint again!), but I think we found a great girl pattern that we really love. Actually I bought this pattern over 2 years ago for Britt but thought it was too girly, so I was very excited to re-purchase it!

The letters on the wall are a story in themselves, needless to say I have spent almost every free minute at night working on them over the past week!

We hope you like!

New Train

Check out this video of Britt's new train set. I found it at a church consignment sale for $10, woop woop! He's officially in love...

Water Table Fun

Britt has been wanting to spend more and more time outside, but it's hard to contain him in our little yard. Since it's warm now (actually verging on hot already!), we brought out the water table he got for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Marshall. He played for over an hour without stopping, which allowed Justin and I to get some serious yard work done. Hope the fun doesn't ever stop with this thing!

Big Boy Room

Today is Day 1 of sleeping in the new Big Boy Room. We've spent a lot of time in it reading, playing, and "practicing" in bed. Here are some pictures of the finished product and of him today before naptime.

Northern Visitors

Ma and Uncle John came down last week for a visit to Justin's parents' house, so we spent last Sunday visiting with them. Britt was super-well behaved, especially since we made the drive up and back that day and went out to a nice lunch. Here are a few pictures with Ma.

Super Bowl Fun at the Foxworthy's House

Britt and Cole had some major fun on Super Bowl Sunday. These two really egg each other on, but usually behave very well together! Of course we made them take silly "future blackmail pictures", hah!

Petting Zoo

We visited the petting Zoo in Kissimmee a few weeks ago, it was a lot of fun to see Britt with the animals. Here are some of my favortie pics...

I love Clifford the Big Red Dog!

We start our mornings out with Clifford, usually in the high chair during breakfast. Probably a bad habit, but it gets him in such a good mood for the day!

Burger Family Christmas - Dec 16-19, 2010

We drove up to Atlanta to spend some time with my family before heading out for Japan. We got to go out for Big Daddy's 60th birthday and have an early Christmas before our big trip. Below are some of my favorite pics. Uncle Zac gave Britton a Mr. Potato Head, and ZZ and Big Daddy gave him a Little People Airplane and Radio Flyer Tricycle.

December 15-16, 2010 Marshall Family Christ

We celebrated the Marshall Family Christmas a bit early this year due to our trip overseas. We visited a house near their neighborhood that spend months decorating, it's becoming a bit of a tradition for us. It was freezing and dark out, so some of the pics aren't that clear.

Baby Girl Marshall 23 Weeks

I didn't get to post it before we left for the holidays, but most of you who read this blog know that we are having a girl! No serious name conversations yet, although I think Justin and I will disagree more this time around.

Here is a pic from today (1/13/11). I'll be 23 weeks tomorrow and have about 15 to go, as she will be a scheduled c-sec at the beginning of May. I've gained about 16 lbs so far, and baby's measurements were healthy and right on schedule at our 19 week ultrasound.

Christmas at Sea World

We've had such a great time this year with our Sea World passes, but the best trip yet was this past Monday. The entire park is set up for Christmas, and many of the normal attractions and shows have been changed into Christmas themed shows. We did the Polar Express (which is usually the Arctic attraction), and we all loved it. First we saw a short movie that made us feel like we were on the Polar Express to the North Pole. After the movie, we entered the attraction, which always has sea lions, walruses, beluga whales, and polar bears, but this time Santa greeted us and the entire place was decorated for Christmas and smelled like hot chocolate.

Next we saw the Shamu show, which has always been Britt's favorite, but I thought they had stepped it up a few notches. An amazing saxaphone player played Christmas carols prior to the show, and then the show had a Miracle theme with lots of Christmas lights and music. It was also our first night-time show, which I thought made it seem even better.

We're hoping to go back once more before our holiday craziness begins. Here's a family pic we had a tourist take of us, which I think turned out pretty good!
